TUESDAY, February 7, 2012 – Nevada’s Tea Party Favorite and 2010 Harry Reid opponent in the Senate Race, Sharron Angle, endorsed Ken Miller, Republican Candidate for Montana Governor 2012, in a letter sent to her many supporters and friends today.   Angle also appeared on the Voices of Montana radio program this morning to discuss the future of the Tea Party, her 2010 run for Senate in Nevada, the Presidential primary and Montana’s Governor race.

Angle served in the Nevada Assembly from 1999 to 2007.  After the Tea Party began to take shape nationally, Angle ran and narrowly lost the 2010 Senate race to then-Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, with 45% of the vote – a margin of error so wide that, according to the Washington Post, made history.  

Angle said in her radio interview, “Ken is a great conservative.   We are like-minded and I’ve actually endorsed Ken Miller” she said.   “I do agree with his conservative stand on the issues, I do agree with his conservative family values and I (said) I would be glad to write a letter of recommendation for the voters of Montana.”

Ken Miller responded, “I’ve been so humbled by the support I’ve received from Conservatives all across Montana and beyond.  This just proves that the Montana’s Governor’s race will be the one to watch this year, and the Miller/Gallagher campaign is making its mark every single day.”  Miller continued, “Having Sharron endorse our campaign is just icing on the cake.  She has been a champion of true Conservative values, in spite of opposition inside and outside her party.  Her brave fight for state’s rights, U.S. energy independence by removing obstructionist regulation, as well as her stand on the sanctity of life, proves that we’re on the same page about the leadership in our country.”
